Ivory is gentle, dotes on small animals, is protective and loving though very shy with new people at first due to her rough start in life. Despite her anxiety about people she really loves to make new friends and is playful. She took some time to learn playfulness but is really goofy and sweet. She plays so gently with puppies and kittens despite her size. Ivory is shy but protective of her humans and animals. She is very gentle and nurturing with smaller animals and loves kittens and puppies! Ivory is relaxed and at ease in the home with her fellow pets. She does love to get outside but is reserved around strangers. Ivory would love to have a yard abd animals to watch over and dote on. She loves guinea pigs and any small animals and will watch over them and snuggle up with them. Ivory is crate trained in case of necessity but is rarely crated. She is housebroken and knows basic commands. She's a typical Great Pyrenees with selective hearing at times. She's gotten better on a leash with ongoing training. Ivory does get separation anxiety as owner had to move due to health and is currently in a busy, noisy high traffic area so ahe does guard. She's less likely to bark when tbe cats are curled up next to her. living in a quieter environment with animals to watch over will be very calming for her and allow her wonderful, goofy, friendly and gentle personality to shine through. She is the sweetest girl. Spayed and UTD on all shots. Ivory doesnt do well with chicken based dog food. She currently really enjoys her Salmon and Sweet Potato Kirkland brand kibble.
